A deadly crash occurred in Patterson, New York, April 29 when the driver of a 2003 GMC pick-up truck crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a 2015 Subaru Forester head-on.

Jean Riccobon, 63, of Carmel, New York, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 3:55 p.m. crash that shut down State Route 22 for several hours. The pick-up truck, driven by 42-year-old Christopher C. Osbourne, of Pawling, New York, was traveling northbound on State Route 22 when it crossed the double yellow lines and slammed head-on into the Forester, operated by Mario L. Riccobon, 65, of Carmel, New York, as it was traveling southbound. Mario Riccobon was taken to Danbury Hospital with injuries that are believed to be non-life threatening. It is unclear whether Osbourne was injured in the crash, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.
